JYP’s girl group NMIXX will be making a comeback with a new album in January
According to an interview with EDaily on November 27, NMIXX has scheduled the release of a new album containing new songs. The release is planned for January of next year, and the members are currently actively preparing for their comeback activities.
NMIXX debuted in 2022 under JYP Entertainment. They have been active with songs such as “O.O,” “DICE,” “Love Me Like This,” “Roller Coaster,” and “Party O’Clock.”
The girl group, which is known for their excellent live performance skills, promote themselves as a team with the musical identity of “MIXX POP,” which means “pop style music that combines two or more genres in one song.”
In July 2023, NMIXX released the single album “A Midsummer Nmixx’s Dream”, which recorded about 1.03 millions of copies sold within the first week, according to Hanteo Chart. With this album, the girl group achieved the status of a “million seller” for the first time since their debut, confirming their strong fandom.
Last month, they held the fan-con “NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX UNIVERSITY” at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul. It will be interesting to see if they can continue their momentum with new album activities after about six months.
