12-year actor Lee Yumi: “I did delivery as a part-timer even after debut, I still haven’t deleted the app”
Lee Yoo-mi shared on “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” that she had a part-time delivery job even after debuting as an actor.
On KBS2’s “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook,” which aired at 10:40 p.m. on Feb 25th, Yoon Chan-young and Lee Yoo-mi, who made headlines through the series “All Of Us Are Dead,” appeared.
Yoo Hee-yeol said, “The production team is in a state of extreme tension. Even though we have rehearsed, but you guys still said it was less than what I imagined. You have to encourage me a lot,” he said.
The two sang Suzy X Baekhyun‘s sweet duet song “DREAM.” Both actors continued the song with a trembling voice, showing a warm chemistry of and smiling at each other.
Yoo Hee-yeol said, “Lee Yoo-mi has various acting experiences, but I heard you had worked as a part-timer as well. What kind of part-time job was it?” he asked.
Lee Yoo-mi once worked part-time as a delivery staff while resting before starring in “Squid Game.” “At that time, I lived in Yeoksam-dong, and the extra charge over there was very high. The peak time was from 2:00 to 5:00, but I kept getting text messages. I earned about 12,000 won each time, so it was very good. That’s why I haven’t erased the app yet,” she confessed.
She said, “It was originally a serious roadblock to me, but the money was at stake, so my eyesight got brighter. Turns out it was not a roadblock,” drawing laughter.
Yoo Hee-yeol asked, “I didn’t know because Yoo-mi played a dark role, but I heard you are very energetic and listen to music a lot. What songs have you been listening to lately?” he asked.
Lee Yoo-mi said, “I think it’s time for me to think a lot about the word adult because I’m getting older. I tend to listen to a lot of songs related to it”. She replied, “I enjoy listening to songs like ‘Being an Adult’ of Kim Na Young.”
