Lee Young Ae has confirmed her new work.
Lee Young Ae will play the main character in the new drama “Maestra” (writer Hong Jeong Hee, director Kim Jeong Won). Following her detective role in “Inspector Koo” last year, this time, she will transform into an orchestra conductor.
“Maestra” depicts the story of a female conductor with a secret. It is the story of her uncovering the truth surrounding herself as she digs into the mysterious events that take place inside her orchestra.
“Maestra” is a remake of the French drama “Philharmonia”. Through this work, Lee Yeong Ae will portray the difficulties and growth she experiences as a conductor. She is expected to present various genres such as mystery and melodrama.
With her character’s personality that is described to be bold and passionate, she rises to the top position. However, her life is shaken by a secret unknown to her.
“Maestra” is scheduled to begin filming early next year.
