Lee Jung-jae, who was bewildered after winning Best Male Actor at SAG Awards, got captured “doing this” during the live broadcast

The public is paying attention to Lee Jung-jae’s acceptance speech of winning the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) for Netflix’s “Squid Game”.

At the 28th SAG Awards held in Santa Monica, California, USA on Feb 27th (local time), Lee Jung-jae and Jung Ho-yeon won the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.

In particular, when Lee Jung-jae was called in the “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series” category, he went on stage with a bewildered expression, saying “Oh my God” as if he could not believe it and began his acceptance speech.

He expressed his emotions, “Thank you so much. This is truly huge that it’s happened to me.”

Then, Lee Jung-jae took out a note from the suit. However, after hesitating for a while, he drew a lot of attention by saying, “I did write something but I don’t think I’ll get to reading it.”

Although Lee Jung-jae failed to read the memo he had prepared, he continued, “Thank you to the global audience for all of your love for Squid Game. And thank you Squid Game team.”
