Lee Hae-ri planned to hold a “small wedding” but the total cost of her wedding was actually not small at all

The cost of “the bride of July” Lee Hae-ri’s wedding has been revealed.

KBS2’s “Entertainment Weekly”, which aired on July 14th, mentioned the wedding of Davichi’s Lee Hae-ri.

Kang Min-kyung, Lee Hae-ri’s lifelong best friend and Davichi’s teammate, released on her channel a Vlog video recording everything about Lee Hae-ri’s wedding, from the wedding preparation process until the day of the wedding ceremony. Kang Min-kyung also introduced herself as a planner for Lee Hae-ri’s wedding.

There was also a lookbook video showing the clothes that Lee Hae-ri wore when taking wedding photos. In the video, Kang Min-kyung said, “She’ll be having a small wedding ceremony. So before the wedding shoot, we’ll try to have time to wear the clothes that we bought, or borrowed.”

In fact, Lee Hae-ri invited only a few fellow celebrities as guests and did not make it a fancy and splendid wedding. However, the total cost of her wedding was said to be as high as a grand wedding.

The wedding venue Lee Hae-ri chose was a five-star hotel in Myeongdong, Seoul. The waiting room for the bride was actually the hotel’s suite room, which costs about 4 million won per night. A wedding planner commented, “The cost of the wedding hall at this hotel is estimated to range from 30 million won to 35 million won. However, Lee Hae-ri seems to have invested more in lighting, chairs, and flower decorations, which may cost around 55 ~ 60 million won.”

In addition, the wedding dress that Lee Hae-ri selected for the main event at the wedding ceremony also became a hot topic. The female singer reportedly purchased the 1 million won dress herself although it would only cost 300,000 won if it is rented. Lee Hae-ri, who seems to have prepared a comfortable party wedding atmosphere rather than a luxurious wedding, chose a short dress so that it would not bother her when moving around.

Meanwhile, comedian Jang Do-yeon hosted Lee Hae-ri’s wedding, singers Lee Juck, Lyn and Baek Ji-young sang the wedding songs and Kang Min-kyung delivered a congratulatory speech. Yoo Jae-seok, Jo Se-ho, Sunmi and Rocoberry’s Ahn Young-min also attended as guests.
