Korean actress embroiled in controversy after making Song Joong Ki fulfill outrageous “wishes” in the past
Ahn Sun Young is under fire for her past requests toward Song Joong Ki at a drinking party.
On June 22, a past story when Song Joong Ki was a rookie in the entertainment industry gained traction on social media. It was about the “wishes” that Song Joong Ki had to fulfill at a party with Ahn Sun Young – his co-worker at the time – from 13 years ago. More shockingly, in describing the event on a past episode of “Happy Together,” Ahn Sun Young said blatantly that Song Joong Ki kissed her on the cheek at first, then on her philtrum, but did not feel much excitement.
In 2010, the cast of “Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctors” gathered at Song Joong Ki’s grandfather’s place for a drinking party; the rookie actor had to ask Ahn Sun Young to take the drink for him as he was on a diet. During the party, lost 5 games consecutively and had to receive penalties.
In Korean culture, the person who drinks on another’s behalf is called a “Black Knight” or a “Black Rose.” They will be granted a wish by the one whom they take a drink for. In Song Joong Ki’s case, Sun Young got 5 wishes. However, those wishes became disrespectful demands, such as kissing on the cheek and philtrum or taking his shirt off.
She also shared her last “wish” to Song Joong Ki – to adjust his underwear into a thong and write a name with his butt. Nonetheless, due to senior-junior relations at the time, Song Joong Ki accepted the request without question and went to another place to adjust his outfit.
Ahn Sun Young affirmed that she allowed Song Joong Ki a chance to back out but the “Descendants of the Sun” star carried out the request anyway. The actress also recalled seeing a “flash of white” to indicate the color of his underwear and said that she, along with others at the party, called him “flour butt.”
Ahn Sun Young was born in 1976. She has appeared in a range of hit dramas and movies since 2001. She also showed up at entertainment programs as a comedian. She stopped working in the industry in 2019. Currently, the actress has settled down with her husband.
