Jang Ki-yong shared, “Actress Song Hye-kyo came to the army base to visit me… She cheered me up a lot”

Jang Ki-yong boasted that Song Hye-kyo came to visit him in the military.

EXO Chanyeol, actor Jang Ki-yong and ONF Hyo-jin, the main characters of the army musical “Blue Helmet: A Song of Meissa”, appeared as guests on the “Special Invitation” section of SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show”  broadcast on March 10th.

During the broadcast, a listener asked Jang Ki-yong’s feelings when he joined the army right after finishing the filming of SBS’s drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up”, which ended in January, and “Don’t you miss Hye-kyo noona?”. 

In response, Jang Ki-yong said, “First of all, I was still filming 4 days before I joined the military. I only saw what I filmed a month after entering the army base. I was curious about what I filmed when I was in such a hurry due to my enlistment. I wondered, ‘Is that me?’, and felt quite awkward seeing myself on the TV. I also felt amazing. It was great. I remember having so much fun watching the drama with my seniors”. 

When asked if Song Hye-kyo has ever visited him, the actor said, “She came to visit me with the entire ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ team”, adding, “They gave me lots of strength”.

Meanwhile, Jang Ki-yong enlisted in the military as an active-duty soldier in August last year
