Hyeri Leaves Agency with Ryu Jun-yeol, Becomes a Free Agent

After her agency was purchased by the company of her ex-boyfriend Ryu Jun-yeol, Hyeri has made the decision to leave.

According to News1’s coverage on April 8, Hyeri decided not to renew her contract with her agency, Creative ING. Hyeri began working with Creative ING in April 2019 and has maintained a relationship based on trust for 5 years.

Under the agency, she appeared in various projects including K-dramas, movies, and entertainment shows. In addition, Hyeri signed several advertising contracts after joining Creative ING and until recently, solidified her position as an “advertising queen”.

In April 2024, however, C-JeS Studio, the company that is managing Hyeri’s ex-boyfriend, Ryu Jun-yeol, acquired 100% of the shares of Creative ING, sparking concerns over Hyeri’s future activities, especially after the two’s recent “love drama” with Han So-hee.

However, Creative ING explained at the time, “The merger and acquisition occurred as part of the financial accounting rearrangements in preparation for the listing of C-Jes”, adding “Creative ING, which is managing Hyeri, is a corporate advertising agency established five years ago only as a subsidiary“.

Now, as Hyeri has departed from Creative ING without signing with a new agency, she has become a free agent (independent celeb without any management agency).
