It was revealed that the first mobile phone used by Hyein (Lee Hye-in), the youngest member of the five-member girl group NewJeans, was iPhone 11.

At a fan signing event, Hyein shocked fans by revealing that “her first mobile phone was iPhone 11”. iPhone 11 was launched in September 2019.

Hyein, who is 14 years old this year, was born on April 21st, 2008. It was the year after the launch of the world’s first smartphone, the first-generation iPhone (June 2007).

In particular, she was an elementary school student when pneumonia of unknown cause was reported in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Due to her trainee life and broadcasting activities as well as the COVID-19 outbreak, her elementary school diploma was replaced with a certificate of passing the GED.
