Esom Praises BLACKPINK Jisoo’s Fairy Cameo Role, “I Was Only Looking At Her Beauty”

Actress Esom talked about BLACKPINK Jisoo’s special appearance in “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman”

On September 21st, Esom had an interview ahead of the release of the new movie “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman”.

Starring Kang Dong-won, Esom, and Lee Dong-hwi, “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman” tells about a fake exorcist who can’t see ghosts but solves the case with ghost-like insight, and is commissioned for a powerful possession case.

The movie also drew attention with its special lineup of cameos, such as “Parasite” couple Lee Jung-eun & Park Myung-hoon and BLACKPINK member Jisoo. In particular, Jisoo appears in the film as a Korean traditional fairy served by a famous shaman played by Park Jung-min.

Regarding Jisoo’s appearance, Esom said, “I wondered who could portray the fairy character if it were not Jisoo. That’s how beautiful she was. I felt so thankful for her appearance and I think she suited the character perfectly”.

The actress added, “I think I was only looking at her. At that time, not only the actors but everyone was excited to see her”.

Esom also talked about her own character and her synergy with other actors, such as Lee Dong-hwi and Heo Jun-ho.
