Chuu refuted Blockberry’s claims, “slanderous articles based on false information”

Former LOONA member Chuu gave her response to the false claims made by her old agency, Blockberry Creative.

On February 1st, Blockberry Creative, the agency of LOONA, claimed that Chuu had been “tampering” in order to sign a new contract with By4M Studio in 2021, and that her action was a violation of the management contract.

At the same time, Blockberry Creative said that they have submitted a petition to ban entertainment activities for LOONA members HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry, who previously won a lawsuit against Blockberry and terminated their exclusive contract.

On February 2nd, Chuu published an announcement on her Instagram story regarding the claims of her former agency, which said, “Hello, this is Chuu. It’s really exhausting and regretful for me to have to keep making statements like this. Recently, it seems that slanderous articles based on false information have gone too far. In December 2021, I didn’t even know the company called By4M Studio. It is unbearable for me and the members to be entangled in lies, so I will reveal my position with a response soon.”

Chuu’s remarks appear to have taken a direct shot at Blockberry Creative.

Meanwhile, in March 2022, Chuu filed a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative for a provisional injunction to suspend her exclusive contract with the agency and won. In addition, LOONA members Heejin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry, who filed a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative in January for a provisional injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts, also won.
