Cha Eun Woo’s visuals in priest uniform was recognized even by a male community

With his stunning appearance as a priest in the TVING drama “Island”, Cha Eun Woo drew so much attention that he was mentioned in a male forum.

In the TVING original series “Island”, which premiered on December 30th of last year, idol-actor Cha Eun Woo assumed the role of John, the youngest priest in the Vatican.

In the first episode, John (Cha Eun Woo) was depicted exorcising a demon. Here, this character drew attention by showing a calm appearance while wearing a headset, despite the screams of evil spirits.

Soon after, John, who started a full-fledged exorcism, achieved an easy success. Even against fiercely rebellious demonic spirits, his expression barely changed, creating an unusual atmosphere.

In the second episode that followed, John boasted a cool appearance in the middle of the forest. He was touching a lump of molten lava, raising expectations for future appearances.

Cha Eun Woo, who shook the hearts of viewers with his perfect visual while dressed in a priest uniform, showed both a playful and serious side. As a result, he became a hot topic even on a male-oriented online community, and was called “an all-time visual that follows Kang Dong Won”.

On the other hand, Cha Eun Woo also spoke perfect Italian with fellow priest characters, creating a sense of immersion and amplifying his charms. In addition, he is also presenting a “hip” side that is quite different from the previous K-drama priests, such as wearing headphones during exorcism.

Meanwhile, “Island” is released every Friday at 12:00 pm (KST) on TVing.
