“Business Proposal” is still getting explosive responses from Netflix viewers although it already ended a few weeks ago

SBS’s hit drama “Business Proposal” still captivates viewers around the world.

According to the chart release by Flix Patrol, a site that provides rankings of Netflix content, on April 26th, SBS’s “Business Proposal” ranked 5th place in the top TV Shows on Netflix Worldwide. It also drew attention by achieving top spots in the TV Show category in various countries, such as Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.

It’s been three weeks since its last episode was aired in Korea, but the drama is still receiving hot responses from audiences all around the world.

Business Proposal” is a drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the sweet love story that happens when Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop), the 3rd-generation CEO of a conglomerate company with a perfect appearance and abilities, accidentally meets Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong), a female employee of his company, on a blind date. The famous “glasses kiss scene” of Cha Sung-hoon (Kim Min-kyu) and Jin Young-seo (Seol In-ah) became viral right after it was broadcast.

During the time it was aired in Korea, “Business Proposal” boasted its huge popularity by recording an average nationwide viewership of more than 10% for every episode starting from episode 8 (based on Nielsen Korea’s data).

The drama also gained much attention and interest in overseas markets. Netizens gave enthusiastic reactions, such as “It deserves such hot popularity”, “The drama was perfect from the beginning till the end”, etc.
