BTS V and actor Kang Dong-won spotted gathering in one place, drawing netizens’ admiration with their amazing connections

BTS V and actor Kang Dong-won had a surprise meeting in the U.S.

On April 11th, Teresa Kang, a famous U.S. producer, uploaded a photo taken with BTS V and Kang Dong-won on her SNS along with the caption “the best night for Koreans”. The released photo showed BTS V, actor Kang Dong-won, Korean designer Eve Chow and “Pachinko” executive producer Theresa Kang taking gathering together in a friendly atmosphere. They were hugging each other’s shoulders and smiling comfortably. The meeting of the best stars in different fields and the close relationship of V and Kang Dong-won, which had not been revealed before, caught the eyes of netizens. 

They seem to have met after BTS performed their concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS”. Kang Dong-won recently signed an exclusive contract with CAA (Creative Artists Agency), a large U.S. agency, to enter the U.S market.

Since V once pick Kang Dong-won as his “ninth role model”, the meeting between the two drew even more attention. V revealed that after knowing Kang Dong-won graduated from a high school in his hometown ( Geo-chang, Gyeongsangnam-do), he began to think, “So people from Geochang can also succeed like him”.
