Breakout star Jung Ho Yeon on the success of “Squid Game”, her future goal, and more 

Jung Ho Yeon shared her thoughts after attending the 74th Emmy Awards.

The director and cast members of Netflix original series “Squid Game” had a press conference right after the 74th Emmy Awards on September 12 (local time). At the press conference held at JW Marriott LA, Director Hwang Dong Hyuk, actors Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, Oh Young Soo, and Jung Ho Yeon talked about the achievements of “Squid Game” at this year’s Emmys. 

Jung Ho Yeon said, “I’ve made a lot of good memories for a year since I joined ‘Squid Game’. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk and Lee Jung Jae took home the Emmy awards, so I am very happy and I think it has been an amazing memory.”

Regarding her plans for the future, Jung Ho Yeon said, “I am still a rookie who has just started acting, so if I have a chance, I want to do vigorous activities both in Korea and overseas.” 

She added, “I’ve been working hard with such a good director, seniors, and all the staff doing things I never could have dreamed of. That’s how happy I feel. I am truly grateful to the fans who have given me a lot of love.”
