BLACKPINK’s Unforgettable Moments at BORN PINK in Hanoi: Bitten by a Mosquito, Cute Accidents
Viral moments of BLACKPINK Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo at BORN PINK in Hanoi have created a buzz over the last few days.
Only at BORN PINK in Hanoi, fans got to see Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé scratching themselves due to mosquito bites while performing. Jennie’s endearing facial expressions delighted Vietnamese fans. Jisoo and Lisa also went viral for unexpectedly discovering a bug while performing.
Hanoi was raining during the concert, resulting in a humid atmosphere and making it difficult to avoid bugs or mosquitoes. However, these incidents became memorable experiences for BLACKPINK during their tour.
Born Pink is BLACKPINK’s second world tour, which kicked off on October 15, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea, covering 64 destinations worldwide. Born Pink has broken numerous records, becoming the most successful tour of all time by a girl group. According to Touring Data, the tour has generated $78.5 million in revenue from 366,248 tickets sold in the first 26 shows alone.
Although only 26 concerts’ revenue has been counted so far, Born Pink has officially made BLACKPINK the girl group with the highest tour revenue of all time, surpassing the previous record held by Spice Girls’ Spice World Tour in 2019 ($78.2 million). It is also the first girl group tour to surpass $100 million in revenue after only 33 shows, marking a new milestone in their career.
Prior to Vietnam, BLACKPINK brought Born Pink to various major cities around the world, including Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, Paris, and New York. The two Born Pink nights at My Dinh National Stadium were also the largest-scale concert by a foreign artist in Vietnam, attracting a total of 67,000 attendees.
