BLACKPINK’s Jennie ranked first in September girl groups’ members individual brand reputation

There was no change in the result of this month's girl groups’ members’ individual brand reputation.  

BLACKPINK Jennie ranked first in the girl groups’ members’ individual brand reputation in September as a result of big data analysis.

On September 18, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted 135,63,4651 brands’ big data from 579 girl groups’ members from the 18th of last month to the 18th of September to analyze their big data of individual brand reputation. The brand reputation index was analyzed with the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index by the customers’ behavioral analysis.

Top 30 of September girl groups’s individual brand reputation rankings are BLACKPINK Jennie, NewJeans Minji, Girls’ Generation Yoona, Oh My Girl Mimi, BLACKPINK Jisoo, NewJeans Hanni, BLACKPINK Lisa, Girls’ Generation Taeyeon, Girls’ Generation Seohyun, NewJeans Haerin, Girls’ Generation Yuri, BLACKPINK Rosé, NewJeans Hyein, Girls’ Generation Sunny, Girls’ Generation Sooyoung, TWICE Jihyo, New Jeans Danielle, Oh My Girl Arin, TWICE Jeongyeon, Ive Jang Wonyoung, IVE Liz, IVE Gaeul, TWICE Mina, Girls’ Generation Hyoyeon, Red Velvet Joy, aespa Karina, aespa Winter, IVE Ahn Yujin, IVE Rei, and IVE Leeseo.

Compared to 13,239,6717 girl group personal brand big data in August, this month’s result increased by 2.45%.

The brand reputation index is an index created through brand big data analysis by finding consumers’ online habits that have a great influence on brand consumption. Through the analysis of girl groups’ members’ individual brand reputation, it is possible to measure positive and negative evaluations of girl groups’ members’ brands, their media interest, consumer interest and traffic.  The analysis of girl groups’ members’ individual brand reputation included an analysis of brand valuation that measured their brand influence.

The BLACKPINK JENNIE brand, which ranked first in this month’s girl groups’ members’ individual brand reputation, was analyzed with an index of 5,059,756 as the participation index of 483,327; media index of 996,461; communication index of 1,735,669 and community index of 1,844,300. Compared with her brand reputation index of 5,141,766 in August, the result decreased by 1.59%.

In second place, the NewJeans Minji brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 4,265,975 points with participation index of 1,807,535; a media index of 998,515; a communication index of 732,164; and a community index of 727,762. Compared with her brand reputation index of 4,574,344 in August, the NewJeans Minji brand decreased 6.74%.

In third place, the Girls’ Generation Yoona brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 3,917,977 with participation index of 1,210,459, media index of 853,204, communication index of 949,523, and community index of 904,791. Compared with Yoona’s brand reputation index of 4,096,329 in August, it fell by 4.35%.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “As a result of analyzing the girl groups’ members’ individual brand reputation in September 2022, BLACKPINK’s Jennie brand ranked first.  Analyzing Jennie’s individual brand categories, compared to her result last month, it increased by 2.45%. According to a detailed analysis, Jennie’s brand consumption rose by 8.19%, brand issue fell by 8.25%, brand communication rose by 10.12%, and brand expansion fell by 1.11%.”
