Jeryl Lee Pei Ling expressed her frustration with the online harassment through SNS. She wrote, “I feel so helpless. I’m Pei Ling.“
She humbly addressed the “Lisa look-alike” label, saying, “I’ll take it as a compliment but… My friends and I never think I resemble Lisa. But people who meet me for the first time may think we look alike for a moment.“
Recently, Chinese actress Angelababy also faced criticism related to Lisa. She was accused of attending Lisa’s “Crazy Horse” show, leading to harsh condemnation due to the show’s portrayal of female nudity and sexualization.
However, the “Crazy Horse” show denied Angelababy’s participation, stating, “We have become aware of the polemic around Angelababy. Unfortunately, she has never seen a ‘Crazy Horse’ show.“
