BLACKPINK Jennie will appear on “THE IDOL”.

According to a report by TV Daily on Jun 17th, Jennie of BLACKPINK is in talks after receiving an offer to appear in “THE IDOL” produced by HBO.

“THE IDOL” is a series about pop idols of which singer The Weeknd and director Sam Levinson, who directed HBO’s “Euphoria,” participated in the co-production. Directed by director Sam Levinson and The Weeknd, actor Lily Rose Depp and singer Troye Sivan will appear to boast an even more luxurious lineup.

The role Jennie is offered is unknown, but it is likely to be a supporting or cameo appearance. Filming is reportedly underway in L.A. Earlier last year, Jennie and The Weeknd were seen eating dinner together by the paparazzis, making headlines.

The Weekend

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, which includes Jennie, is scheduled to make a comeback as a full group after a two-year hiatus in the second half of 2022.
