ASTRO MJ reminiscences Moonbin, “when we meet again, let’s build a home and live together”

MJ, a member of ASTRO, has left a letter for the late Moonbin, revealing they talked about living together after military service.

On the afternoon of April 26th, MJ shared a polaroid photo containing an old image of the late Moonbin. Along with it, he wrote a long message, starting with, “My little brother Bin. It still doesn’t feel real, right…?”

MJ went on to express, “How lonely, painful, and agonizing it must have been for you alone,” adding, “Even in that situation, you continue to worry about the team and members until the end… You should have worried about yourself first, you fool. I’ll continue to draw the picture we wanted together. I’m so angry at myself for not being able to be by your side and protect you.”

The male idol also revealed his longing by writing, “If only I had known that our last stage together would be a fan meeting before your enlistment, I would have looked into your eyes more, made more jokes, and stuck by your side. Just hearing that you would come to visit me occasionally on the phone made me so happy and I couldn’t wait for that day. I still remember your voice so vividly back then.”

According to MJ, Moonbin and him talked about living together when MJ finished my military service through the phone.

“At the time, you smiled and said you would think about it and let me know. But in the end, I didn’t get to hear your answer”, he wrote, adding, “I want to hear it even in my dreams, so please visit and tell me. You’re so awesome and cool, my little brother ^^.”

Finally, MJ said, “Let’s make a promise that you will be well and happy there, more than anyone else. And when we meet again, we will build a home and live together. Thank you for your hard work and for being a singer. I love you, my brother, Bin-ah.”

It is known that Moonbin previously mentioned hearing “Thank you for being a singer” from fans as words that make him the happiest.

MJ is currently serving in the military after enlisting in May last year. He received emergency leave after hearing the news of Moonbin’s death on April 20th and quickly visited the funeral site.

The late Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 8:10 pm (KST) on April 19th. His agency, Fantagio, is opening a memorial space for Moonbin at their office until the 30th.
