A steamy scene in The Red Sleeve was regrettably cut off: The two leads were only allowed to kiss!

What was revealed by the main couple about an intimate scene in The Red Sleeve had the viewers upset. 

Only two more episodes left before 2021’s most successful historical drama, The Red Sleeve finally comes to an end after a memorable journey with amazing results that exceed the expectations. At this point, the leading couple has shared many heart-fluttering, affectionate scenes. 

Ahead of the final two episodes, Lee Se Young – Lee Junho recently opened up about their intimate scenes in the drama and made the viewers upset when they mentioned a steamy scene that could have been labeled 19+. Specifically, their kissing scene was supposed to last longer and different from the script, but the director made them stop, claiming it was enough.

Lee Se Young revealed, “I really can’t explain much. We still had some work to do but the director cut it off and said it was enough.” Lee Junho also emphasized, “We did it a bit differently from the script. But the director stopped it and said it was enough and pretty cool.”

This sharing of the couple made the audience sad. It took 14 episodes for the audience to begin to see the couple’s sweet kiss scenes, yet their bed scene in the last two episodes was also cut.
