tvN’s blockbuster ‘Jirisan’ gets an incredibly high rating; Ryu Jun Yeol’s ‘Lost’ ends with a poor result
The ratings of weekend dramas all have signs of growth.
Jirisan, the new drama starring Jeon Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon, has reached a new milestone for the second episode after breaking tvN’s weekend viewership record. According to Nielsen Korea, Jirisan’s October 24 episode had an average nationwide rating of 10.7%, a considerable increase in viewership over the first episode.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s Young Lady And Gentleman has surpassed the 30% milestone, becoming the channel’s highest-rating drama ever. The most recent episode of this popular drama received an average nationwide rating of 30.4 percent, setting a new record.
Lastly, Ryu Jun Yeol‘s Lost ended with a slight increase in viewership, with the last episode earning an average nationwide rating of 2.4 percent. This “growth” is, of course, nothing to be proud of.
