Shin Hye-sun to appear on ‘Newsroom’ “Anticipating stories behind ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri’”

According to News1 on Jan 26th, Shin Hye-sun will participate in the recording for JTBC’s “Newsroom” on this day.

Shin Hye-sun’s “Welcome to Samdal-ri” ended on Jan 21st amidst positive reviews. “Welcome to Samdal-ri” tells a heartwarming story that happens when Cho Sam-dal (Shin Hye-sun) returns to her hometown Jeju after losing everything.

Starting with a rating of 5.2% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide) in the first episode, “Welcome to Samdal-ri” surpassed 10% in the 14th episode and concluded with a self-record high rating of 12.4% in the 16th episode. The work itself, capturing healing, laughter and emotion, also received positive reviews.

On “Newsroom”, it is expected that Shin Hye-sun will share stories related to “Welcome to Samdal-ri”. Already, there is anticipation for what stories will be told, from the character Cho Sam-dal, who is also the title role in “Welcome to Samdal-ri”, to her romance with co-star Ji Chang-wook.
