Sakura To Be Absent From LE SSERAFIM’s Schedule Due To Poor Health Condition
Sakura will not participate in the upcoming group schedule amid continuous controversies surrounding LE SSERAFIM
On April 27th, the Japan official website of LE SSERAFIM released a post saying “Notice regarding Sakura’s Absence From LE SSERAFIM’s 3rd Mini Album ‘EASY’ Serial Number ‘Online Benefit’ Event”.
LE SSERAFIM’s agency stated, “Sakura will inevitably be absent from LE SSERAFIM’s 3rd Mini Album ‘3rd Mini Album ‘EASY’ Serial Number ‘Online Benefit’ Event to be held on April 27th (Saturday) due to poor health condition”.
Except for Sakura, the other four members of LE SSERAFIM will participate in the fansigning event as scheduled. Events such as random member fansigns and individual photo shoots will take place later.

At the recent press conference regarding the recent dispute between HYBE and ADOR, CEO Min Hee-jin mentioned LE SSERAFIM members Sakura and Kim Chae-won. Min Hee-jin claimed that she could not promote NewJeans properly because of LE SSERAFIM’s debut. The female CEO added that she prepared for NewJeans’s debut as the first HYBE’s girl group but the agency told her to postpone the plan and introduced LE SSERAFIM first.
In this regard, Source Music announced their plan to sue malicious commenters and those who spread posts containing false information, sexual harassment, slander, insults, etc. to protect the artists.
Prior to HYBE’s internal conflict, LE SSERAFIM faced a backlash due to their poor live performance at the Coachella festival in the US.
Born in 1998, Sakura is 26 years old. She started singing in Japan in 2011 nd made her debut in Korea with IZ*ONE in 2018. After IZ*ONE disbanded, she re-debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in 2022.
