Production crew of drama “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong” got into a bus accident, 1 PD was killed
The bus carrying the crew of tvN’s “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong” was involved in a fatal accident on the road.
As reported by Xports News on March 31st, heading to the filming site at around 7:50 am KST on the same day, while running on the freeway in the direction of Munsan, Songchon-dong, Paju, Gyeonggi province, the bus carrying the filming crew of tvN’s upcoming drama “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong“, which is scheduled to air in the second half of this year, was suddenly hit by a dump truck after refueling.
There were 10 people on the bus, including directors and other filming staff. One PD from the team was killed in the accident. In addition, three people, including the bus driver, were urgently taken to the hospital and are receiving emergency treatment. The dump truck driver is reportedly safe after the hit.
An official from the production team of “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong” told Xsports News, “The production team was moving to Paju Studio for the shooting scheduled for that day. Due to the accident, all the filming has been suspended”, adding, “We will do our best to deal with the accident. We have planned a discussion for future schedules with the broadcaster.”
It is believed that a dump truck came out of a gas station, went straight into the 3rd lane of a four-lane road then crashed into the bus running in the 3rd lane. The police are planning to investigate the exact details of the accident and the damages.
Meanwhile, “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong” depicts the story of Yoo Se-poong, a famous doctor who gets kicked out of the Palace after being caught up in a royal conspiracy, meets Gye Ji-han and Seo Eun-woo of the mysterious and beautiful Gyesu Village, and is reborn as a true doctor. Actors Kim Min-jae, Kim Hyang-gi and Kim Sang-kyung will appear in this drama.
