Following his imprisonment, Kris Wu’s fine for evading tax is revealed.
According to the investigation, the Beijing Local Taxation Bureau discovered that Kris Fan had engaged in tax evasion from 2019 to 2020. He evaded 95 million yuan in tax by taking advantage of both Chinese and overseas companies to hide his actual income.
Based on relevant laws, Kris Wu will be subject to tax arrears and a fine of 600 million yuan, which is approximately 84 million USD.
Earlier today, at his first-sentence trial, Kris Wu was reportedly sentenced to 13 years in prison for rape and organizing group sex activities. He will also be deported immediately from China after serving his sentence.
