Nayeon, Tzuyu, Momo (TWICE) tested positive for Covid-19

Three members of TWICE have tested positive for the SAR-CoV-2 virus when returning to Korea.

On May 21, JYP Entertainment announced that 3 members of TWICE, Nayeon, Tzuyu, and Momo, were infected with Covid-19 after arriving in Korea from the US. Prior to that, all three had taken PCR tests before departure and received negative results in the US.

According to JYP, Nayeon, Tzuyu and Momo all received three injections of the vaccine. Currently, the members’ health is stable, with Nayeon tired, and Momo and Tzuyu both having cough. All three members are being quarantined, following instructions from the health service.

“We will exert our full efforts to ensure the speedy recovery of our artists, by prioritizing their health. Thank you,” – the company said.

The announcement made many fans nervous as member Nayeon is preparing for a solo debut with her mini-album “Im Nayeon”, which will be released on June 24. The title of the album has a double meaning. It was not only Nayeon’s full name but also a confident statement that “I am Nayeon”.
