Actress Lee Se-young talked about the pressure after the success of “The Red Sleeve”.
On the afternoon of Sep 5th, the online press conference of KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “The Law Cafe” (written by Lim Eui-jung, directed by Lee Eun-jin) was held. Actors Lee Seung-gi, Lee Se-young, Kim Nam-hee, Kim Seul-gi, Oh Dong-min, Ahn Dong-goo, Kim Do-hoon, Jo Han-chul, Jang Hye-jin and director Lee Eun-jin attended the event.
Lee Se-young, who led the syndrome-level popularity of MBC’s “The Red Sleeve” earlier this year, said, “It was the first time I appeared in such a successful drama since I was young. There aren’t many dramas that do well in a year. Success is an important factor, but I tend to focus more on the message and fun the drama gives. It’s something I can’t do on my own, so I just do my best.“
She expressed expectations, “This time, I’m going to show you a fun side that I’ve never shown before. A hot-tempered and crazy aspect that is close to my actual appearance. The script is very interesting. In particular, KBS is like home. I’m not married, but it’s like my hometown. When it comes to KBS, I have faith in it and I get good energy this time as well.“
Meanwhile, “The Law Cafe” is a Lawmance drama about Kim Jeong-ho (Lee Seung-gi), a former prosecutor who is known as “monster genius”, and Kim Yu-ri (Lee Se-young), a beautiful lawyer with a four-dimensional personality. The first episode will air at 9:50 PM on Sep 5th.
