At midnight on December 20, a popular blogger caused the whole Chinese entertainment industry to stir before the rumor that a male star with his surname started with Z had a shocking “ bride picking” past like Kris Wu. Immediately, all attention was focused on Lay (Zhang Yixing).
However, at 1 a.m. on December 20, Zhang Yixing‘s studio gave a strong announcement:
“If we had to count the times of being rumored in the past year 2021, the rumors would be enough to make a yearbook summarizing this year’s s showbiz events. Having debuted for 9 years but there hadn’t been a year that he hadn’t been caught in rumors. How can he do his job when you keep spreading false rumors against him?”
Lay‘s studio issues an ultimatum:
“We have seen your post today about “bride picking” @XVFengLi. We will wait for you here from this moment until 10am today. To all the media who are waiting, please have some good rest. We apologize for this disgusting thing to take place at the very last moment of your weekend. By 10am today, if you still don’t have evidence to show, expect to spend the last half of your life paying for the damages while writing your books.”
