Here, the actress’ outfit, from top to toe, was none other than the work of the luxury brand, Louis Vuitton.
According to Louis Vuitton on September 14th, Jung Ho Yeon wore a long slit gown with multi-colored embroidery from this brand to attend the Emmy Awards ceremony, which was held on September 12th (local time). Jung Ho Yeon also drew attention for her short black hair, Louis Vuitton bag, and hair ornament – which takes inspiration from a traditional Korean hair ornament that’s worn by the royal female members.
As the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Jung Ho Yeon received a handmade embroidered silk dress that’s custom and designed exclusively for her. The dress is said to have taken 110 hours to make and an additional 490 hours to embroider.
Meanwhile, Jung Ho Yeon’s hair accessory is specially made, having taken inspiration from a traditional Korean ornament, and resembled the petals of chrysanthemums. The accessory is also made using crystal, shell, and pearl, and took more than 30 hours to complete through the collaboration of various fields such as design, jewelry making, and plating.
On top of that, Jung Ho Yeon used shoes, high-quality jewelry, and a bag from Louis Vuitton, which is reminiscent of a lucky bag.
Jung Ho Yeon’s fashion at the Emmys, which stands out with various Korean elements, quickly caught the attention of people around the world. People, an American entertainment media, ranked the actress among the best-dressed actresses on the Emmys’ red carpet.
Previously in February, Jung Ho Yeon also showed off a Korean-inspired styling at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG). At this awards ceremony, Louis Vuitton also made a custom costume for Jeong Ho-yeon.
