Gong Yoo reveals Nam Joo Hyuk is on another level at basketball and Choi Woo Shik always says he’s good at everything
Gong Yoo recently talked about his labelmates, Nam Joo Hyuk and Choi Woo Shik.
On April 6th, a video titled “Gong Yoo is playing hard to get with the black card” was posted on the official YouTube channel of Management SOOP.
After a basketball game, Gong Yoo answered, “No,” to the staff’s question, “Which actor from SOOP do you want to play with?”
When Nam Joo Hyuk was brought up by the staff, Gong Yoo said, “Joo Hyuk used to be a basketball player. I’ve never played with him, but I’ve seen him play a lot. Joo Hyuk was also in the celebrity basketball team.”
He added, “Joo Hyuk is on a whole different level because he is a former basketball player. It’ll be fun to play with Joo Hyuk since he knows how to play. But others guys are just…”
Gong Yoo also mentioned Choi Woo Shik and said, “Woo Shik always says he’s good at everything. When it comes to any sports, he always says, “Oh, brother, you know, I’m good!” but he has never actually proven it,” drawing laughter.
Gong Yoo continued, “Joo Hyuk has played basketball before, we are basketball players who recognize each other, so it’ll be fun to play with Joo Hyuk. But Joo Hyuk is busy these days with his drama.”
Upon hearing this, the staff revealed that Nam Joo Hyuk had finished filming “Twenty Five, Twenty One”. Gong Yoo then said, “Are you trying to put Nam Joo Hyuk and me together for a video again? Well, if we have time later, we’ll play basketball again as an exercise. We can tell Joo Hyuk to come.”
When asked by the staff to say something to Nam Joo Hyuk and tell him to come with him next time, Gong Yoo said, “Why do you always make me do the hard part?”. But he still did it by sending a video message to Nam Joo Hyuk, “Joo Hyuk, they want to film you playing basketball.
