EXO Lay will join a Chinese entertainment program in which, Henry, who has recently been embroiled in pro-China controversy, used to be a cast member.
On April 15th, China’s Hunan TV released a new poster of the cast lineup for Season 6 of “Back To Field” through its official SNS account.
In the photo, Lay was seen together with famous Chinese actors and broadcasters, such as Huang Lei, He Jiong, Peng Yuchang, and Zhang Yifeng.
“Back To Field” is a program that shows the lives of stars in the countryside and has been pointed out to be similar to tvN’s “Three Meals a Day” ever since it was first aired.
He Jiong, Huang Lei and Henry were on the show from Season 1 to Season 3. Then, the cast lineup of Season 4 was completely changed since Henry decided to drop out of the show.
In Season 5, which aired last spring, original members He Jiong and Huang Lei, except Henry, returned. Henry was replaced by new members, including Lay, Peng Yuchang and Zhang Yifeng.
It is confirmed that Henry would also be absent from the upcoming Season 6. Lay will also appear in this season, In other words, Lay has completely replaced the position of Henry.
Season 6 of “Back To Field”, starring Lay, will air on Hunan TV on April 29th.
