BLACKPINK is such a popular and attractive group, even superheroes get excited
The return of BLACKPINK after 2 years of no group releases is among the most highly-anticipated comebacks of the moment. As BLACKPINK is scheduled to drop their pre-release single “Pink Venom” soon, the group have been the talk of town, and even a Marvel character has got excited.
In particular, a rather scary-looking fan has left a comment on a recent post on BLACKPINK’s official Twitter account, which announces the release date of “Pink Venom”. It was none other than the Marvel anti-hero Venom, who tweeted: “Pre-ordered”, alongside two heart emojis in black and pink.
The comment was named by the official account of the movie “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, which hti the cinema last year. Such a reaction is being speculated to be Marvel’s friendly response to a trend ongoing among BLINKs (fandom of BLACKPINK), who photoshopped Venom in pink accessories and BLACKPINK light sticks, creating their own version of “Pink Venom”.
In addition, this is not the first superhero character that turns out to be a fan of BLACKPINK, as the “As If It’s Your Last” MV once appeared in a scene where The Flash met Batman in the 2017 DC movie “Justice League”
Recently, BLACKPINK announced that they will be holding the World Tour “Born Pink”, starting with a concert night in Seoul. This first concert will be held at KSPO Dome on October 15th and 16th.
