A celebrity who worked hard to make money and opened a gopchang restaurant for her parents

Actress Park Shin Hye debuted through SBS’ drama “Stairway to Heaven” in 2003.

She received attention and love from many viewers by participating in various works such as “You’re Beautiful”, “The Heirs” and “The Doctors”.

In particular, the drama “You’re Beautiful”, in which she appeared in 2009, was a huge hit in Japan and the Greater China region, making her a Hallyu star loved in Asia beyond Korea.

Having married fellow actor Choi Tae Joon in January last year and given birth to a son in May of the same year, she recently garnered attention by sharing news related to her parents on SNS.

She wrote, “The restaurant my beloved parents have been running for 10 years has reopened with a nicer space and more diverse menus under a new name. Please give the restaurant a lot of attention and love.”

Appearing on tvN’s entertainment show “Three Meals a Day” in the past, Park Shin Hye mentioned her parents’ business, “My parents run a gopchang restaurant.” On the broadcast, the actress drew admiration by showing off her excellent cooking skills by making a dish using lamb intestines brought directly from her parents’ gopchang restaurant.

In 2015, Park Shin Hye revealed that she had opened a store for her parents in an interview with MBC. She added, “I used to receive allowances from my parents. But now I decided to give my parents a store and manage the bank account myself.”

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye will work with Park Hyung Sik in a romantic comedy through JTBC’s new drama “Doctor Slump”.
