Yoo Ah-in and his “Hellbound” jokes, calling Jang Sung-kyu who looks like Ryu Kyung-soo “big brother”
Actor Yoo Ah-in responded to a post by broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu.
On Nov 28th, Jang Sung-kyu posted on his Instagram several photos along with a caption saying, “An unexpected direct message. Chairman Jeong Jin-soo of the New Truth Society responded after seeing my post. May you go to heaven #Hellbound #Jung Jin-soo #Priest Yoo Ji.” The released photo contains messages exchanged with Yoo Ah-in. Yoo Ah-in laughed at the post that Jang Sung-kyu mentioned him, commenting “Oh, big brother” to joke back.
After seeing this, Jang Sung-kyu said, “Wow, awesome. Thank you so much. I enjoyed watching God Ah-in’s performance, giving me goosebumps.” He then said “If you don’t mind, can I post your reply? You can reject it right away. I’m sorry for this kind of request,” to which Yoo Ah-in replied, “No, do as much as you want. Should I send it again in a funny way,”, drawing laughter.
Earlier on Nov 22nd, Jang Sung-kyu posted on his Instagram, “I’m getting a lot of calls saying that they enjoyed watching “Hellbound”. This role is not me, but actor Ryu Kyung-soo,” along with a picture of the character Priest Yoo-ji (Ryu Kyung-soo) in the drama “Hellbound,” saying that “I’m sorry that I’m receiving the compliment even though he is the one that did all the acting.”
Actor Ryu Kyung-soo in the picture drew attention with his appearance which resemble Jang Sung-kyu. Netflix’s original series “Hellbound” tells the story of a supernatural phenomenon in which people are sentenced to hell without notice, and those who want to reveal the reality of the revived religious group New Truth Society.
