BTOB Im Hyun-sik and Yook Sung-jae will be discharged from military service and return to their fans.

ON November 14th, Yook Sung-jae and Im Hyun-sik will be discharged from the military at the same time. The Ministry of National Defense decided that the two would be discharged without having to return to their unit after the last vacation in order to prevent the pandemic’s spread. Yook Sung-jae and Im Hyun-sik enlisted in May last year and have served in the military earnestly.

Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Chang-seob and Lee Min-hyuk were already discharged from the military long ago. Therefore, BTOB members have all completed their military service and will be able to meet fans as a whole group. While fans are cheering and sending congratulations to the two who will be discharged today, Im Hyun-sik greeted his fans through Instagram.

Through a handwritten letter, Im Hyun-sik expressed his affection towards fans, saying, “As I promised before leaving, I have come back healthily and safely. I miss you all a lot.” He added, “I have always been waiting for the moment when BTOB and Melody (BTOB’s fandom name) can meet again. Finally, the moment I dreamed of has come true. Thank you for waiting for me. Thank you a lot.” Im Hyun-sik finished his letter by saying, “To Melody who have been waiting for me for a long time, I will work hard to express my sincerity for a longer time in the future. Let’s fly while looking at the same direction and with the same speed.”

With the return of Yook Sung-jae and Im Hyun-sik, BTOB is expected to prepare for a comeback as a whole group soon after the end of their 3-year hiatus.
