“My beloved… ” Everyone cheered loudly when Daesang-winner Song Joong-ki mentioned this person in his acceptance speech

Actor Song Joong-ki won Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2022 APAN Star Awards. He then mentioned Lee Joon-ho in his acceptance speech, drawing attention.

Song Joong-ki attended the 2022 APAN STAR AWARDS, which was held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do on September 29th, and won Daesang with the drama “Vincenzo”.

Taking the stage, Song Joong-ki carefully said, “Thank you for inviting me to this awards ceremony. I’m so honored. I actually thought I wouldn’t feel nervous, but I was really shaking while sitting over there”.

He continued, “What makes me feel so happy is that I’m receiving such a big award today together with my beloved little brother Lee Joon-ho, who has been through ups and downs with me since my rookie days. That makes me personally feel so good”.

Actor Lee Joon-ho won Best Actor in a Miniseries with “The Red Sleeve”. Sitting in the audience seat, Lee Joon-ho applauded and smiled cutely as Song Joong-ki mentioned his name. The scene was caught on camera, and fans who watched the awards ceremony gave enthusiastic cheers for the two’s warm bromance.

Song Joong-ki also said, “There were times when I lost my confidence and kept wondering ‘Am I good enough to do it?’, ‘Will I be able to take on that role?’… and being harsh on myself. There was a time when I hated going to the filming set. At that moment, I met ‘Vincenzo’”, adding “This work made me realize that I can do everything if I sincerely connect myself with others and we can do it together”.

Lastly, Song Joong-ki finished his speech by delivering his gratitude and love to his staff, family, and friends.
