Late Sulli’s Documentary “Dear Jinri” Released For The First Time At 2023 BIFF

Sulli’s documentary “Dear Jinri” will be unveiled for the first time today (October 7th) at the Busan International Film Festival.

“Dear Jinri” contains the last interviews of the late star Sulli. It is a documentary film that conveys various daily concerns and thoughts that Sulli (Choi Jin-ri, 25) as an actress and artist, felt at that time in an interview format.

Known as “Persona: Sulli,” this documentary is a Netflix original film shot in 2019. As Sulli passed away in October of the same year, it remained an undisclosed work. In May, it was reported that the work will be released on Netflix, drawing attention.

Eventually, the audience can watch this documentary for the first time in Busan under the title “Dear Jinri.”

The documentary showcases a wide angle section, where we can also listen to Sulli’s sincere stories.

Sulli made her debut in the entertainment industry as a child actor in the SBS drama ‘Seodongyo’ in 2005. Since 2009, she has been a member of the popular girl group f(x) and enjoyed global popularity. After leaving the team in 2015, she was active as an actress and broadcaster, but passed away in 2019 at the age of 25
