Jisoo and Lisa’s sisterhood in BLACKPINK: Giving each other’s rap lines, showing support for individual projects
The relationship Lisa and Jisoo have goes beyond friendship and grows into a family bond filled with unconditional support.
On the second night of the “BORN PINK” concert in Seoul (Korea), Lisa intentionally reserved the rap part in “Boombayah” for Jisoo when she spontaneously rapped along. Noticing this, Lisa “fed” Jisoo the verses so she could carry out the part. Later, Jisoo gave the floor back to Lisa. The event drew praise for the pair for how they handled the spontaneity while helping each other shine.
On the concert night, Jisoo’s and Lisa’s families were also present. With mutual love and care, these two came and greeted the other’s family members.
A long-term BLINK would notice how Lisa and Jisoo usually go in pairs to different events. On their Japanese business trip to attend a Cartier event, Lisa went with Jisoo. Fans only noticed this when they boarded a plane for Korea.
Jisoo was called the “muse” of Lilifilm because she was the first to appear on Lisa’s first video on her personal YouTube channel. Lisa included sentimental subtitles, saying “No footage is more precious than Jisoo”.
During her solo debut, Lisa gained much support from Jisoo. The idol usually came to the set to bring energy for her member Lisa. When Lisa’s solo “LALISA” received an award in the “Video Music Awards 2022”, Jisoo was tearing up feeling proud of Lisa.
When Jisoo was filming for the drama “Snowdrop”, Lisa constantly mentally supported her fellow member through each aired episode. She even went to the set to visit Jisoo and gifted the staff and cast members.
