Jennie and V’s dating rumor: Chosun Ilbo edited their article → YG has not expressed any position

Both YG and Big Hit remain silent about the dating rumor of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V raised this morning.

On the morning of May 23rd, a photo of two people assumed to be BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V on a vacation spread through SNS sites and online communities, causing a dating rumor to arise.

Several proofs were pointed out, including the two’s Instagram profiles, V’s accidentally following Jennie as well as Jennie and G-Dragon’s unfollowing issue and breakup rumor.

After the rumors broke out, Chosun Ilbo reported that they contacted YG Entertainment and the agency told them, “We have nothing to say” while Big Hit did not answer the phone.

However, Chosun Ilbo edited their article later on the same day. Accordingly, the report after changes were made said, “Both agencies have not expressed any position on the rumors of their artists’ romantic relationship. We contacted both YG Entertainment and Big Hit but they remained silent.”
