“Getting closer in real life”…Ahn Hyo Seop X Lee Sung Kyung, romance reunion in “Dr. Romantic 3”

“Dr. Romantic 3” Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung will show the romance of a couple in their 3rd year.

The press conference of SBS’ new Friday-Saturday drama “Dr. Romantic 3” was held at SBS Broadcasting Center in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of April 26th. Actors Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, Yoon Na Moo, So Joo Yeon and director Yoo In Sik attended the event.

“Dr. Romantic 3” is a drama depicting the stories of “true doctors” at a small hospital named Doldam, which is located in Gangwon Province. Both the previous two seasons recorded the highest viewership rating of 27%.

In season 2, Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung developed into a couple after confirming each other’s feelings. Director Yoo In Sik said, “Their relationship and emotions in season 3 are deeper than in season 2. And a huge obstacle appears. It’s interesting to see how they will overcome this obstacle.”

Ahn Hyo Seop, who plays Seo Woo Jin, talked about the two’s romance chemistry after 3 years, “I think it was very helpful in terms of timing. In season 2, I wasn’t really close to Sung Kyung (like now).”

Lee Sung Kyung, who plays Cha Eun Jae, confessed, “When we didn’t know each other well at first, there were things that we were cautious about. However, since those things disappeared and comfort remained, the acting of a couple in their 3rd year naturally came out.”
