Viewers cried so hard because of Snowdrop’s heartbreaking ending

The ending of “Snowdrop” is much more painful than the audiences could expect.

Suffering from back-to-back controversies with numerous times being in danger of a suspension, “Snowdrop” finally ended its journey of 16 episodes. Although the viewers already knew that there would be a sad ending, the fact that “Snowdrop” writer makes Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) gets shot to death in front of Young Ro (Jisoo) is out of expectation. Ended with a similar ending to “Youth of May”, “Snowdrop” left Young Ro in desperate pain and loneliness after figuring out that Soo Ho also loved her at first sight.

Right after the last episode aired, social networks really exploded.  On Twitter, the keyword #SnowdropFinale climbed to the top 1 trending worldwide at the time the last episode was broadcast, and the keyword PROUD OF ACTRESS JISOO also ranked in the top 3.

This ending drew a lot of reaction from the audience. Aside from those who thought it was perfectly appropriate for the era and the character’s background, the majority of the audience was heartbroken and resentful of Snowdrop’s bloody and tearful ending.
