IU stuns in photos of her taken at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
On November 28th, IU posted several photos on her Instagram with the caption, “Thank you for the Blue Dragon Popularity Award and all the pretty photos.”
The released photo shows IU attending the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards Ceremony held on November 25th.
In the photos, IU is posing with her trophy. The long black hair and pure white dress make IU look like a Disney princess.
IU also shared pictures of herself taken by various media outlets during the awards ceremony. Attention is drawn to IU walking on the red carpet with her long hair flying.

IU was nominated for Best New Actress through her role in the movie “Broker” at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards, but unfortunately didn’t win. Instead, she received the Popular Star Award along with Go Kyung Pyo, Daniel Henney, and Lim Yoona.
IU said in her acceptance speech that day, “I was invited to Blue Dragon for the first time, and I am very grateful for receiving such a good award.”
She continued, “Thanks to the ‘Broker’ team, I went to a lot of good places this year. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be here. I’m also very grateful to my fans UAENAs (IU’s official fan club name).”
IU received the attention of filmmakers around the world when she starred in “Broker”, a film directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda, which was released in June of this year. She was honored with awards at the 31st Buil Film Awards (Female Star of the Year Award), the 27th Chunsa Film Festival (New Actress Award), and the 42nd Korea Film Critics Association Award (New Actress Award) held this year.
“Broker” is a film about the special journey of people who met unintentionally through a baby box. Besides IU, it stars Kang Dong Won, Bae Doo Na, Song Kang Ho and Lee Joo Young.
