“Fast X” OST “Angel Pt.1” featuring BTS Jimin is taking over the iTunes Charts in 80 countries

“Angel Pt.1”, a “Fast X” OST featuring BTS Jimin is creating a worldwide buzz. 

On May 18th, the blockbuster action movie “Fast X”, or “Fast and Furious 10”, released the MV for the movie’s OST – “Angel Pt.1”. The song features American singer-songwriters and rappers. BTS Jimin stands out as the sole Korean singer. 

Jimin boasts an irreplaceable tone and gave the song a sense of completeness with lyrical melodies and delicate vocals. 


In the MV, the Korean singer has a special duet with American singer-songwriter Muni Long and neatly ended the MV.  Currently, BTS Jimin and the “Angel Pt.1” OST are trending on Twitter globally with the hashtags #Angel_Pt1” and “JiminxFastX”. 

Jimin appeared on the credits of an installment in the “Fast and Furious” series’ OST credit and was mentioned in the lyrics for “The End of the Road Begins (Intro)”. 


After the OST release, “Angel Pt.1” topped the Top 10 Songs Worldwide iTunes Chart as well as the iTunes Charts across 80 countries and regions. At present, the BTS member broke the record by becoming the K-pop solo artist with the most No.1 songs (a total of 6 songs).

On Spotify, “Angel Pt.1” debuted at No. 23 on the Global Daily Chart in just 12 hours. 

Jimin became the longest-running K-pop solo artist on Spotify’s Global Daily Top Artists Chart (65 days) and the highest K-pop solo artist on the Global Digital Artist Ranking (No. 24).
