EXO and TWICE have been selected as donation angel groups for the new year.
In the idol popularity ranking service “Choeaedol“, EXO and TWICE ranked first in the cumulative male and female group rankings of the Hall of Fame and were selected as the 76th donation angels. The rankings were created through active votes from Korean and foreign fans for 30 days (December 17th 2021 ~ January 15th 2022).
EXO took first place in the cumulative male group rankings. EXO, which has been achieving donation angels for 13 consecutive months, received 2,988 out of 3,000 points by EXO-L’s votes. So far, EXO has achieved a cumulative donation amount of 33.5 million won with 67 donations in total: 46 donation angels and 21 donation fairies.
Recently, EXO D.O. and Kai were loved by fans by respectively achieving the 264th donation fairy and the 267th donation fairy on their birthdays.
TWICE topped the cumulative female group rankings for 17 months in a row. TWICE, which scored 2,988 out of 3,000 points, has achieved a cumulative donation of 28 million won so far with a total of 56 donations: 42 donation angels and 14 donation fairies.
EXO and TWICE, which became donation angels, are expected to donate a total of 1 million won, 500,000 won each, to the Milal Welfare Foundation. The accumulated donation amount for “Choeaedol” is 302 million won.
In addition, “Choeaedol” will run a subway CM board advertisement to congratulate groups becoming donation angels. Advertisements for EXO and TWICE will be available at Express Bus Terminal Station from January 30th.
Meanwhile, EXO was followed by BTS and MONSTA X while TWICE was followed by BLACKPINK and SECRET NUMBER.
