On May 8th, 2023, aespa finally returned to the music scene with the album “My World” and the title song “Spicy”.
Making their comeback after 10 months of absence, the girl group is already achieving huge successes.
In particular, as of 18:15 (KST) on the same day, aespa’s 3rd mini album “My World” has recorded 1,192,976 copies sold, with further sales prone to be made for the rest of the day.
With such a number, aespa has already surpassed LE SSERAFIM’s previous record of 1,024,034 copies for first-day sales of their album “Unforgiven”. Thus, aespa has become the Kpop girl group with the highest first-day album sales in the history of Korean sales tracking platform Hanteo.
